And what happens when you complement them? A communication agency that accompanies filmmakers to fundraising races to promote their short and feature films and thus gain a foothold in the film industry.
The Ayhe agency debuted in communication campaigns in the world of cinema in 2023 with ‘SOLO’, a short film by Ayhe Productions with which we got the nomination for the ‘Gaudí’ awards.
We have grown exponentially with the Goya Awards 2024 campaign, where we devised the launch campaign for two short films: ‘El Monstruo de la Fortuna’ and ‘Sisè Primera’, starring Emma Vilarassau. But really we have been working for a long time, the film projects of the producer David Aymerich have helped us to train what today is a reality. All the knowledge we have gained with the experience of Ayhe Communication, we now apply it in the world of cinema.
This spring we premiered at the Malaga Film Festival, one of the most prestigious festivals in the country, with a very special project. Abril’, the short film starring Sofía Otero – Os de Plata at the Berlin Film Festival for ‘20,000 species of bees’ – and directed by Alexandra Iglesias – an emerging filmmaker on the national scene – reflects the taboos on the first menstruation and physical changes in women during puberty, through magical realism. And Ayhe agency has played a very important promotional role.

Today is the eleventh birthday of ‘Abril’ (Sofía Otero) who celebrates with her mother (Cristina Brondo), grandmother (Isabel Rocatti) and the rest of the family. But everything starts to change when bright red spots start to magically appear on her white suit. Abril, who does not understand what is happening to her, flees to the bathroom to take refuge in her shame and guilt. After getting a moment of calm, Abril will understand that she has to accept the nature inside her.
